AppiWorks for Google Calendar is a Google Workspace add-on to interact with any applications from Google Calendar.
Key features of this add-on
reads the data from Google Calendar and posts it to external applications.
Open Google Calendar.
In the add-on section of Gmail select AppiWorks.
Click on AppiWorks and start the setup.
The first step in creating a new service is creating a new connection. Read Connection settings to learn more on how to set up connection.
Click on Create New Service to create a new service.
Mention the required service name.
Select the required connection.
Select the required entity to perform the action.
Select the required action.
Mapping should be done to map the Google Calendar fields with the corresponding app fields.
Select the required app field and map it with the Google Calendar fields as required.
Select Current Message.
Click Save to save the service.
Click Cancel to cancel the setup.
Once a service is configured open Google Calendar.
Select the email from which the contacts need to be created.
The email addresses that are available will be listed there.
Click on Go to execute the service.
This will navigate to the next page where all the details about the selected email will be displayed.
Click on Create to create the contact in Insightly.
If the contact is created successfully a notification screen appears like this.
